Huo Weiguang, PhD, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Artificial Intelligence, Nankai University, and a Professor at Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI). He received the title of Honorary Lecturer from Imperial College London, UK. He earned his PhD from the University of Paris-Est, France, and completed postdoctoral research at Imperial College London. His research interests include wearable robotics, functional electrical stimulation, and intelligent diagnostic and treatment technologies.

Hongbin Pei, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor at Xi’an Jiaotong University and a jointly appointed Professor at Shenzhen Loop Area Institute. He received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees from Jilin University, and was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign. His research interests include graph learning, trustworthy reasoning in large models, and AI-driven molecular science. He has published more than 40 papers in CCF-A venues such as IEEE TPAMI and ICML.

Wang Hao, Ph.D., is a Professor at Xidian University, and a dual-appointed professor at the Shenzhen Loop Area Institute . His research focuses on Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence, Embedded AI, and Human-Computer(Robot) Interaction. He has published more than 200 papers in top-tier international journals and conferences and has been listed in the 2024 “World's Top 2% Scientists” list. His current priority is on commercialization of AI technology in areas such as industrial intelligence, proactive health, and cardiac monitoring.

Xun Zhou is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota, USA, and formerly served as a tenured Associate Professor and Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow at the University of Iowa. His main research areas are data mining, machine learning, and spatio-temporal big data intelligence for smart cities.

Tin Lun LAM is a tenured Associate Professor - Presidential Young Fellow at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He also serves as Executive Deputy Director of the National-local Joint Engineering Laboratory of Robotics and Intelligent Manufacturing, and Vice Chair of IEEE Robotics and Automation Society Guangzhou Chapter.

Tsung-Hui Chang is currently a Professor and Associate Dean of School of Artificial Intelligence, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen (CUHK-SZ), China. His research interests include signal processing and optimization problems in data communications and machine learning. Dr. Chang is a Fellow of IEEE and the Vice-Chair of the IEEE SPS Signal Processing for Communications and Networking Technical Committee (SPCOM TC).

Yuanwei Liu, Ph.D., is a tenured full Professor at The University of Hong Kong and a visiting professor at Queen Mary University of London. His core research focuses on Generative AI/LLM for Communications, Pinching-Antenna Systems, UAV Communications/Sensing for Low Altitude Economy, and is an IEEE Fellow, AAIA Fellow, and Highly Cited Researcher, with awards including the IEEE ComSoc Outstanding Young Researcher Award. Collaboration and student applications in wireless communications, AI, and integrated sensing and communications are welcome.

Lin Gao, PhD, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Information Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China. He has been recognized as the IEEE ComSoc Asia-Pacific Outstanding Young Researcher and the Outstanding Young Talent in Science and Technology Innovation under the Special Support Program of Guangdong Province. His main research interests are in the interdisciplinary area between optimization, game theory, and artificial intelligence.

Xiangfeng Wang, PhD, is a Professor at East China Normal University and Deputy Director of the Key Laboratory of Mathematics and Engineering Applications, Ministry of Education. His primary research interests focus on Intelligent Agents (including Optimization, Reinforcement Learning, and LLM-driven Agents) and their applications.

Di HUANG, Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University. His research focuses on generative AI, computer vision, and embodied intelligence. He has lead a variety of fundamental research grants funded by the National Key R&D Program of China and the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as industry collaboration projects with leading enterprises including Microsoft, Alibaba, Meituan and ByteDance.

Vice Dean of Guangzhou Research Institute, Xidian University, Second-Grade Professor, PhD Supervisor. Prof. Liu has long been engaged in research on intelligent optimization, cognition, prediction and control of complex network systems, time series analysis, and computer vision. She has co-authored 4 monographs and published more than 160 papers in international journals and over 100 papers in international conferences.

Shenghua Gao is a tenured Associate Professor at the University of Hong Kong. Prior to joining HKU, he was a professor at ShanghaiTech University. He has been supported by the National Thousand Young Talents Program and the Shanghai Outstanding Academic Leaders Program. His research interests include 3D and 4D reconstruction and generation, Embodied AI, AI4Science, etc. He has served as an area chair for over ten top conferences (CVPR, NeurIPS, ICCV, ACM MM, ECCV, etc.) . He is/was an associate editor for IEEE TPAMI, TMM, TCSVT, etc.

Wanli Ouyang received his PhD degree from the Department of Electronic Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is now a professor at Shanghai AI Lab and The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His research interests include pattern recognition, machine learning, and AI for Science. Before that, he was an associate professor at The University of Sydney. He led the team ranking first in the 2015 and 2016 ImageNet ILSVRC Challenge. He was awarded IEEE TCSVT best paper award.

YANLI JI, PhD graduate from Kyushu University, Japan; Visiting Researcher at the University of Tokyo. Recipient of the title of Shenzhen High-Level Talent and honoree of the 2023 AI Chinese Women Young Scholars List. She has published more than 60 papers in CCF A-ranked high quality and filed more than 30 patents. Earned the Best Paper Award at the 28th Australasian Database Conference, and a Best Paper Nomination at the 20th China Virtual Reality Conference.

On February 25, Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), led a delegation of major artificial intelligence (AI) enterprises on a visit to the Shenzhen Loop Area Institute. Hongyang Li is an Assistant Professor at Musketeers Foundation Institute of Data Science, University of Hong Kong and has led OpenDriveLab (opendrivelab.com) since 2021. His research focus is on autonomous driving and embodied AI. He led the end-to-end autonomous driving project, UniAD and won the IEEE CVPR 2023 Best Paper Award. UniAD has tremendous  impact in both academia and industry, including the recent rollout of Tesla FSD to customers.

Zhigang Wu, Ph.D., is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on humanoid biomimetic robots, embodied intelligent soft robots, and digital (AI)-driven design and manufacturing of intelligent soft systems.

Tian Zhuotao is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), and a dual-appointed professor at Shenzhen Hetao College. His current research focuses on multimodal large models, efficient inference, unified architectures for generation and understanding, intelligent agents, and multimodal perception. He received his bachelor's degree from the Elite Class of Harbin Institute of Technology and earned his Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Professors Jia Jiaya and Yu Bei.

Jianke Zhu is a Professor in College of Computer Science at Zhejiang University. He received his Ph.D degree in Computer Science and Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. He was a postdoc in BIWI Computer Vision Lab at ETH Zurich. Dr. Zhu's research interests include computer vision and machine learning. He is a senior member of the IEEE.

Li Jiang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Data Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, a recipient of Presidential Young Fellow, and holds a joint appointment with the Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI). Following the completion of her PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021, she advanced her academic journey as a postdoctoral researcher within the Department of Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. She has been awarded Lise Meitner Postdoctoral Fellowship and Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship.

Zhilin Zhao is a Researcher / Associate Professor at the School of Computer Science, Sun Yat-sen University. He is the principal investigator of the National Overseas Young Talent Program and a National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) General Program. He received his bachelor and master degrees from Sun Yat-sen University, and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Technology Sydney, Australia. He subsequently conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.
