Li Jiang is an Assistant Professor at the School of Data Science, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, a recipient of Presidential Young Fellow, and holds a joint appointment with the Shenzhen Loop Area Institute (SLAI). Following the completion of her PhD degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2021, she advanced her academic journey as a postdoctoral researcher within the Department of Computer Vision and Machine Learning at the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. She has been awarded Lise Meitner Postdoctoral Fellowship and Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship.
Li’s research interests lie in the area of computer vision and machine learning, with a focus on 3D perception and spatial intelligence, world modeling, autonomous driving, embodied AI, representation learning, and multi-modal learning. Her work has been published in top-tier conferences and journals such as CVPR, ICCV, NeurIPS, and TPAMI, with multiple oral presentations and spotlight papers. Her research has been cited over 14,000 times on Google Scholar. Her research on motion prediction for autonomous vehicles won the champion of Waymo Open Dataset Motion Prediction Challenge. She has been repeatedly listed among the world’s top 2% scientists (single year) and was selected for the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas).
