Dr. Yao Tang received her Ph.D. in Information Engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on edge intelligence, integrated sensing, communication and computation (ISCC), and semantic communication, with particular emphasis on low-altitude UAV communications, federated edge learning, and multi-view edge inference. She has published first-authored papers in leading journals such as IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications and IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, as well as flagship conferences including IEEE GLOBECOM and ICASSP, and holds one granted Chinese invention patent. She welcomes research collaborations in edge intelligence, semantic communication, and world models, and invites outstanding students to join her group.
