Yuanzhe Wang, PhD, is a Professor and PhD supervisor at the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University. He received his PhD degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore, and previously served as a Research Assistant Professor at NTU.
His research interests are robotics and embodied intelligence, with a focus on autonomous navigation, multi-robot collaboration, embodied manipulation, teleoperation, and spatial perception. He has led projects including the National Excellent Young Scientists Fund (Overseas), the Singapore Maritime Transformation Programme, and the Singapore’s National Robotics Programme. He has published 40+ papers in top journals and conferences such as TRO and ICRA. He serves as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Field Robotics and IEEE Control Systems Letters, and was an Associate Editor for the flagship robotics conference IROS from 2020 to 2025. He welcomes research collaborations and outstanding student applicants in robotics, artificial intelligence, automation, mechanical engineering, etc.
