Biography

Konstantinos Courcoubetis is a Presidential Chair Professor at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. He holds a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley and previously served as Professor at the Singapore University of Technology and Design, where he directed the ST-SUTD Centre for Smart Systems.

A pioneer in network economics since the late 1990s, his research focuses on network and Internet economics, the sharing economy, smart grids, auctions, and regulation policy. He has also made foundational contributions to algorithmic verification.

He has published over 100 papers in top journals and conferences and is ranked among the world's top 2% most-cited scientists, with over 18,000 Google Scholar citations. He co-authored the influential book *Pricing Communication Networks*.

He welcomes collaborations and students interested in network economics, sustainable energy systems, and data-driven policy.
