Tian Zhuotao is a Professor and Ph.D. Supervisor at the School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology (Shenzhen), and a dual-appointed professor at Shenzhen Hetao College. His current research focuses on multimodal large models, efficient inference, unified architectures for generation and understanding, intelligent agents, and multimodal perception. He received his bachelor's degree from the Elite Class of Harbin Institute of Technology and earned his Ph.D. from The Chinese University of Hong Kong under the supervision of Professors Jia Jiaya and Yu Bei. He has been selected into the National High-Level Youth Talent Program, awarded Huawei’s “Spark Award,” and supported by the CCF-Tencent Rhino-Bird Research Fund and Huawei Strategic Research Institute Talent Fund to conduct cutting-edge research. In recent years, he has published over 50 top-tier papers in CCF-A / Tsinghua Category-A conferences and journals, including multiple publications in TPAMI, ICCV Highlight, CVPR Highlight/Oral, AAAI Oral, ACM MM Oral, as well as Outstanding Paper Awards. He has also been invited to serve as an Area Chair for top conferences such as CVPR, ICLR, WACV, and AAAI.
