Biography

Xiaojun Quan, Ph.D., Professor, Shenzhen Loop Area Institute. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science at City University of Hong Kong, and has conducted research or held positions at Rutgers Business School, the Department of Computer Science at Purdue University, the Department of Linguistics and Translation at City University of Hong Kong, the Institute for Infocomm Research of A*STAR (Singapore), and the School of Computer Science and Engineering at Sun Yat-sen University. His research interests include natural language processing (NLP), large language models (LLMs), and model compression and lightweighting. He has published over 100 papers in top-tier international journals and conferences such as IEEE T-PAMI, ACL, ICML, NeurIPS, and ICLR, and has led multiple national- and provincial-level research projects. He pioneered research on heterogeneous model fusion and developed the FuseLLM and FuseChat series, which have attracted broad attention. He welcomes research collaborations and applications from students in the areas of NLP and LLMs.
