左旺孟 教授

Prof. Wangmeng Zuo

左旺孟现任哈尔滨工业大学计算学部教授。他目前的研究方向包括底层视觉、图像/视频生成、多模态理解以及面向生物学的人工智能。他已在顶级学术期刊与会议上发表200余篇论文。他曾担任《IEEE模式分析与机器智能汇刊》《IEEE图像处理汇刊》以及《中国科学：信息科学》的副编委。

Wangmeng Zuo is currently a Professor in the Faculty of Computing, Harbin Institute of Technology. His current research interests include low level vision, image/video generation, multimodal understanding, and AI for Biology. He has published over 200 papers in top tier academic journals and conferences. He has served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Trans. Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, IEEE Trans. Image Processing, and SCIENCE CHINA Information Sciences.

Abstract

图像生成技术的飞速发展催生了诸多闭源与开源模型，例如GPT‑Image、Nano Banana、Jimeng、Flux以及Qwen Image。由此，简单图像或单一物体的生成技术已趋于成熟。基于上述基础，本报告旨在探索包含多人物/多物体、复杂姿态以及交互关系的高分辨率复杂图像生成技术。报告将介绍课题组在高分辨率/极端宽高比生成、图文交错生成、多目标场景以及复杂交互生成方面的研究进展，最终致力于拓展图像生成的技术能力与应用边界。

The rapid development of image generation has led to the emergence of proprietary and open-source models like GPT-Image, Nano Banana, Jimeng, Flux, and Qwen Image. Consequently, the generation of simple images or single objects has reached maturity. Building upon these foundations, this report aims to explore the generation of high-resolution and complex images involving multiple people/objects, intricate poses, and interactions. It will present our team's research progress in high-resolution/extreme aspect ratio generation, interleaved text-and-image generation, multi-object scenarios, and complex interaction generation, with the ultimate goal of expanding the technical capabilities and application boundaries of image generation.
