Prof. Sebastien Ourselin, King's College London
Professor Sebastien Ourselin FREng FMedSci is the Head of the School of Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences and Assistant Principal (Innovation) at King's College London.
He is also the Director of Digital Health and Data Science for King's Health Partners, the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering and the AI Centre for Value Based Healthcare.
Alongside Guy's & St Thomas NHS' Foundation Trust, he leads the establishment of a MedTech Hub, located at St Thomas' campus. The vision for the Hub is to create a unique ecosystem, enabling academia, industry and the NHS to work in synergy and develop health technologies (including medical devices), workforce and operational improvements that will be of global significance.
He has over 25 years of experience within academia and research organisations (across three countries) and has significant experience in translating and commercialising healthcare technology and in MedTech entrepreneurship.
Prof. Jiebo Luo, HKISI
Jiebo Luo is a member of the Academia Europaea and the U.S. National Academy of Inventors (NAI), and a fellow of ACM, AAAI, IEEE and AIMBE. His research interests include computer vision, NLP, machine learning, data mining, computational social science, and digital health. He has authored more than 700 technical papers and holds 98 U.S. patents. He has been involved in numerous technical conferences, including serving as program co-chair of ACM Multimedia 2010, IEEE CVPR 2012, ACM ICMR 2016, and IEEE ICIP 2017, as well as general co-chair of ACM Multimedia 2018 and IEEE ICME 2024. He has served on the editorial boards of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI), IEEE Transactions on Multimedia (TMM), IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT), IEEE Transactions on Big Data (TBD), ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology (TIST), Pattern Recognition, and Intelligent Medicine. He was the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Multimedia from 2020 to 2022.

Prof. Hongbin Liu,CAIR,HKISI
Prof. Hongbin Liu is the Director and Professor for the Centre of AI and Robotics (CAIR), Hong Kong Institute of Science & Innovation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). Professor at CAS, Institute of Automation (CASIA), doctoral supervisor, Director of the group for intelligent technology for minimally invasive surgery. His research interests include embodied AI systems for flexible minimally invasive surgery, multimodal large models, and surgical digital twin systems.Prof Liu’s group has been focusing on research and development of surgical robotic systems with advanced haptic sensing and embodied artificial intelligence, to enable safer and more effective minimally invasive surgery via narrow spaces. Prof Liu’s research has led to the clinical translation of a series of technologies for neurosurgery, respiratory interventions, as well as GI surgeries. He received the prestigious BOCHK Science and Technology Innovation Prize in 2022 for his invention of a flexible robotic system for minimally invasive neurosurgery which has addressed and tackled the surgical difficulties of treating the deep brain lesions. Prof Liu published more than 120 papers in the top international journals and conferences, with an H index of 46. He has over 50 patents.
