Dr. Zhuoyi Song is an Assistant Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at Shenzhen Loop Area Institute. She holds an M.E. in Automation from Harbin Institute of Technology and a Ph.D. in Automatic Control from the University of Sheffield. Her research focuses on neural system modeling and brain-inspired AI, with current interests in fine-grained feedback mechanisms in perceptual neural networks, insect-brain-inspired autonomous navigation, and "What-Where" pathway-integrated spatial intelligence. She has led two projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and has published over 20 papers in top-tier journals including Current Biology and eLife. She welcomes outstanding students with backgrounds in Automation, Electronic Information, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, and related fields to join her research group, and is also eager to engage in in-depth research collaborations with peers.
