Chongyi Li is a Professor at Nankai University. He currently leads the Photography and Imaging Laboratory. He has published over 150 papers in top-tier international journals and conferences, with more than 25,000 citations on Google Scholar. His work includes 29 ESI Highly Cited Papers and 9 ESI Hot Papers. He has received several prestigious awards, including the 2025 IEEE Signal Processing Society Best Paper Award, the EAAI Best Paper Award, a Best Paper Nomination from PR, and a Young Outstanding Paper Nomination at the World Artificial Intelligence Conference. His research outputs have been successfully deployed in more than 20 domestic and international companies. He has been listed among the Stanford World’s Top 2% Scientists for five consecutive years (2021–2025). He has also been recognized as a Clarivate Highly Cited Researcher for two consecutive years (2024–2025), and as an Elsevier Highly Cited Chinese Researcher for three consecutive years (2023–2025). He is a leading organizer of the MIPI Workshop at CVPR/ECCV/ICCV and an organizer of the NTIRE Workshop at CVPR.
